The one thing that does not reduce is the price of a new car in Trinidad and Tobago. With cars reaching over 2 million dollars these cars now form a significant investment in your asset portfolio and must be protected to last the test of time, and or, the duration of your multi-year warranty.
You can extend your vehicle's life by doing three things:

Regular Maintenance

Careful Driving

Proactive Care
Here are five ways to do just that:

Regular Maintenance
Adhere to your dealers recommended maintenance schedule for your vehicle. Regular oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and brake inspections are essential for keeping your vehicle running smoothly and preventing premature wear and tear.

Drive Responsibly
Avoid POTHOLES & aggressive driving. This includes speeding, rapid acceleration, and hard braking. These habits can put unnecessary strain on your vehicle's engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension components, leading to premature wear and decreased lifespan.

Keep It Clean
Regularly wash and wax your vehicle to protect its exterior from corrosion and rust. Clean the interior to stop dirt, dust, and debris. They cause early wear on upholstery, carpets, and interior parts. Additionally, keep the engine bay clean to prevent dirt and grime buildup, which can impede airflow and cause overheating.

Monitor Fluid Levels
Check and top up key fluids at least once a month. These include engine oil, coolant, transmission fluid, brake fluid, and power steering fluid. Low fluid levels can cause more friction and overheating. These can severely damage your vehicle's engine and other vital parts.

Address Issues Promptly
Don't ignore warning signs such as the check engine light ,the famous ABS light or unusual noises or vibrations. Fixing problems fast can stop small issues from becoming costly repairs. It can also extend your vehicle's life.
By following these practices, you can help ensure that your vehicle stays reliable and efficient. It will stay that way for years to come.
