20 BUSINESS DAY - CREDIT PERIOD
20 Business Days to Pay. One Important Deadline to Remember.
Stay Protected by Paying Your Premium on Time.
At Nautica Insurance Brokers, we understand that flexibility matters. That's why eligible general insurance policies may benefit from a 20-business-day credit period, allowing you time to complete your premium payment while arranging your finances.
However, this credit period is strictly limited. Your insurance protection depends on your premium being paid within those 20 business days. Missing this deadline could result in your policy being canceled, delays in claim settlements, or the loss of your insurance coverage.
Don't leave your protection to chance. Make your payment on time and enjoy the confidence of knowing your policy remains in force.
Remember: Credit facilities are not available for every type of insurance policy. For example, Third Party Motor policies are not eligible for credit and must be paid in full before coverage becomes effective.
Why the 20-Day Credit Period Matters
Stay Covered
Your insurance policy remains protected only when your premium is paid within the permitted credit period. Missing the deadline could result in cancellation of your policy.
Avoid Claim Delays
Outstanding premiums may delay the processing or settlement of claims until payment obligations are met.
Meet Legal Requirements
The 20-business-day temporary credit period for eligible general insurance policies is provided under the Insurance Act and is not an indefinite extension of payment.
Keep Your Protection Active
Paying on time ensures uninterrupted insurance protection and gives you peace of mind when you need it most.
